Steve Odwin - 1936 - 2011

It is with great sadness that BC Athletics learned of the passing of Steve Odwin on Sunday, July 17, 2011. An engaging, interested, enthusiastic and accomplished athlete, Steve was an energized spirit that embraced the sport of Athletics and welcomed all those he met and competed against with an infectious smile.  Competing for the Hershey Harriers in Road Races, Track & Field Meets and Cross Country Races, Steve could often be found in the results of events in BC, Washington and Oregon. He will be missed by all of us! A celebration of Steve’s life will be held at 2:30 pm, Sunday, August 7, 2011 at the Arbutus Club, 2001 Nanton Avenue,Vancouver.  Donations in memory of Steve may be made to The Vancouver Special Olympics.
