  • Motion to approve to recommendations arising from the 2021 AGM:
    • Updating the Gender Identity on the BC Athletics Membership Application form. Passed
    • Minimum Age for Registration as a BC Athletics Official amended to be 14yrs of age. Passed          

 

August 27th, 2021

  • Motion to Updated the BC Athletics COVID-19 – Referencing the Updated Provincial Restrictions. Passed

 

November 20, 2021

  • Motion to appoint BDO as auditors –for the year ended March 31, 2022. Passed
  • Motion that the Draft Strategic Plan, as presented, is adopted and sent to staff for completion and then be returned to the Board for review at the January Board meeting. Passed
  • Motion to approve the list of individual memberships received from May 31, 2021 to November 15, 2021 as provided, pending completion of waivers. Passed
  • Motion to approve the list of club renewals for their 2021 Club membership and 2022 Club memberships, pending completion of all requirements. Passed
  • Motion to approve the list of Schools (1) and School District (5) 2021/2022 school year memberships as provided, pending completion of all requirements. Passed
  • Motion to approve the Pacific Track & Field Club application, pending completion of all requirements. Passed
  • Motion to approve Maya Baechler’s provincial record be included as presented. Passed
  • Motion to approve the BC Government Provincial Health Order as applicable to a person, including a parent, must have received two doses of vaccine, if the person is (a)leading, supervising, or assisting with a program for children or youth; or required to be present with a child or youth at a program for children or youth. Passed

  • Motion to Replace the current wording under section 3.3 Volunteer Officiating at Championship Meets with the following -
    • The BC Athletics Junior Development Championships host is responsible for providing all Officials and volunteers required for the successful hosting of the event. Participating clubs may be contacted by the host club if additional volunteer support is required.
    • This wording was approved by the JD Committee at its 2022-02-07 meeting. Passed
  • Motion to approve the Official’s Committee rate per kilometre adjustment as
