2022 National XC Championships BC Team Staff applications are now open!

BC Athletics is proud to be one of the only branches to send a Provincial Team to the National Cross Country Championships. This year’s National Cross Country Championships will take place in Ottawa on November 26^th.  To be considered for team staff selection to the BC Team, coaches must meet the posted requirements and complete the online application form. When the application period closes, coaches will be selected by BC Athletics and contacted via email to confirm commitment to the team timelines.

The BC Team will depart BC on Thursday November 24^th.
Compete on Saturday, November 26^th and
Return on Sunday November 27^th.

Team Staff Roles & Responsibilities

• Head Coach (1)
• Team Coach (up to 4)
• Team Manager/Chaperone (1)
• Sport Medicine Staff (1)

All team staff are required to have completed ‘Making Ethical Decisions’ and ‘Safe Sport’ Training. Head Coach must be minimum Performance Coach Certified. Team Coaches should be minimum Club Coach Certified.
