Course Measurement Clinic Judged a Success
June 13, 2016 14:22pm
Congratulations to Emilie, Vincent, Tom, Mark, Roger and Sarah who attended the Course Measurement Clinic on the weekend, and now understand not only how to measure a course accurately, but also know how best to run a race following the shortest route possible to achieve a PB.
Over the course of the weekend participants laid out a calibration course, measured a test course, performed the calculation necessary to submit a measurement for certification, and learned tips and experiences from the instructors.
Thanks to Paul Adams, with assistance from Geoffrey Buttner, for leading the clinic. And thanks to the Vancouver International Marathon Society for hosting.
